Web Design & SEO Pricing:

PACKAGE #1: CUSTOM WEB DESIGN with SEO - where you supply ALL required materials* in digital format:

HOME PAGE = $250 + $100 for each additional web page
For instance - an 11 page web site would be $250 for the home page then 10 extra pages x $100 = $1000, for a total of $1250

*REQUIRED MATERIALS FOR PACKAGE #1: Before commencement of work you must have set up both your domain name and web hosting on a site such as BlueHost.com or GoDaddy.com - For best results choose a domain name with your keywords in the name - for instance my domain name is ZensationalWebDesign.com - I made sure to include my main keywords of "web design" in my domain name. Also you should have gathered together all of your assets - such as; background images, page images, videos, descriptive copy writing for every page (minimum 200 words per page), logo, links to other web sites, information from your keyword research, contact info. You need to supply this for EVERY page in DIGITAL format (disc, flash drive or emailed to me). An extra charge applies if the information is not in digital format and has to be re-typed or scanned. If you have most of the required materials and need a little help with writing content on a page or need help with an image or two - see info section below for a la carte pricing. FLASH is not included.

PACKAGE #2: CUSTOM WEB DESIGN with SEO - this package is when you want to be hands off and want me to do all the background research for you, obtain images and write the content copy, and you do not have any required materials:

For instance - an 11 page web site would be $350 for the home page then 10 extra pages x $150 = $1500, for a total of $1850

PACKAGE #3: SEO Consultation only - Call for pricing

PACKAGE #4: Upgrade an existing site to be SEO friendly - Call for pricing

PAYMENT: 50% deposit due up front. Balance of payment is due the day the site launches.

TIMEFRAME: If you choose PACKAGE#1 - work will not commence until I receive all of the REQUIRED MATERIALS necessary to build your site. BOTH PACKAGES require a 50% down payment. Depending on the size of the site, work should be finished in 2 to 4 weeks for a regular site - larger more complicated sites will take longer.

What's Included:

WEB DESIGN - if you have a clear vision of what you want I can create your custom design for you. If you are unsure how you want your site to look I can help you brainstorm and will give you a document that you can use to help you figure out your goals for your web site such as, do you want to provide information? Sell something? Generate new leads?. You should take time to brainstorm and write down everything that comes to mind so that nothing is overlooked and all of your needs are met. You need to be proactive and do your research - you should look at your business from a layman perspective and not get bogged down with your industry jargon that a prospective client may not understand, your site needs to speak to the end user - the people that will be searching for you and want to use your services. A good starting point is to surf the web for web sites in the same business as you for content ideas and also look at other sites where the look and feel of the site appeals to you for layout and color scheme ideas. List the web sites that you like and don't like -and let me know why you like/don't like them - this will give me some direction on how to proceed. I will not plagiarize (copy) another web site.

WEB DEVELOPMENT - Web site will be coded in HTML and CSS with possibly some Javascript. The architecture of the site will be optimized for users (Usability) and for search engines (SEO).

SEO - Each web page will be themed around 4 or 5 keywords unique to each page. Keywords will be supplied by you - make a list of all the keywords relating to your business, then build on your list by asking others who are not involved in your business what they would type in Google if they were looking for your business, if you have employees ask them what questions they get asked most frequently by customers and what words your customers are using.. All SEO best practices(known as White Hat SEO) will be adhered to, as well as internal link building .Please don't be fooled by fly-by-night SEO companies who make outrageous statements, nobody can guarantee that you will be #1 in Google for your main keywords but you should certainly rank on the first page for some of your keywords depending on how competitive your keywords are. Typically it takes three to six months to see result, patience is a virtue in search engine land. Your ROI (Return on Investment) will be high as typically sites that rank in the first 4 positions for certain keywords in Google receive more traffic and conversion to sales on your site.

SET UP GOOGLE ANALYTICS - I will add Google analytic tracking code to each page on your site so you can track your visitors and success of your web site for free online at the Google Analytics web site. This is an excellent FREE metrics tool.

Not Included, extra charge applies:

CONTENT WRITING - Content has to be unique and not duplicated from another site. You and I agree not to plagiarize (steal) copy from other sites, besides being illegal, the search engines penalize sites with duplicate content by dropping their rankings. You are encouraged to be proactive and supply the written content copy for every page on your web site - at least 200 words per page - nobody knows your business and your vision better than you, to get you started I can give you tips on writing great content and then tweak your final draft to be search engine friendly - for no extra charge. If you are having difficulty writing your copy I can do it for you for an extra $40 per page. If you buy PACKAGE #2 the price of images is already included and you do not need to pay the extra charge.

IMAGE ASSETS - BACKGROUND IMAGES, ON PAGE IMAGES, LOGO'S, FLASH - if you do not supply high quality digital images and you want me to buy or find images for you from sites like Fotolia or Google Images then the charge is $5 per image found on free image sites and $7 for images bought from Fotolia or similar royalty free image site. If you buy PACKAGE #2 the price of images is already included and you do not need to pay the extra charge. You and I agree not to use images subject to Copyright Law.

KEYWORD RESEARCH & DISCOVERY: Extensive keyword research by me using various software options will uncover keywords that you may have overlooked, layman term keywords, less competitive keywords that will be easy to rank for, too highly competitive keyword and more - prices vary by the size of your site and the industry that you are in.

EXTERNAL LINK BUILDING - This is a worthwhile SEO tactic, but it is a very time consuming process - prices to be negotiated. The extra charge is for me to do the research and reach out to other sites such as blogs and directories relevant to your business. I do not pay for links on other web sites linking to yours - this is a bad practice known as Black Hat SEO.

WEB SITE MAINTENANCE - Future changes to your site will be charged separately if needed for a reasonable rate. If you need weekly or monthly maintenance, I can include the pricing in your total package at a discounted rate.
